notes from the first day of the semester!

 - "it's great to be in windowless rooms because then you don't have to see the sad dead winter outside" both teachers so far have said that, lol. I don't mind the grey and brown? but i'm weird

- people have ALSO said that we should have gotten TONS of snow by now, and it's weird that we've only gotten a few inches. Personally I am totally fine with this

-  the writing class should be a lot nicer than I thought, initially. We have to submit a piece of writing every week but it can be literally anything you want (poetry fiction nonfiction etc.) as long as it's not plagiarizing ideas or characters that already exist (so no fanfiction) and it meets a certain length requirement. That is less scary than what I was expecting. I hope this class will be okay.

- intro to PoliSci doesn't seem too bad either, it's just a week dedicated to each specific field of PoliSci and what kind of jobs you can get in each field. So then if I really like a particular section, I might look into doing a major with that. I'm also doing intro to communications which will be much the same, most likely. Between the three hopefully I'll find something I like enough to do as a job? or a major. that's the thought

- it's so weird coming back to the same buildings and going to new classes and seeing new people. what the birb I thought I was done with this (im not. it's kinda breaking my brain that I have to do this 10+ more times)
