- maintainance guy came and fixed our dishwasher. This is good because after the garbage disposal was fixed a few days ago, someone dumped all the dishes that had been marinating in the rotting dishwater into the broken dishwasher, where they have sat for several days. Now that the dishwasher's fixed, I can finally have my dishes back!!
- went to make cream of wheat, which requires farina mix milk and brown sugar. Was out of milk, decided to experiment with a mix of water, frozen greek yogurt, and heavy cream. considered putting some homemade ice cream in as well, decided against it. then I realized I was out of farina so I used oats instead. The resulting substance was edible and surprisingly not terrible, but it's still a little funny to me that I basically Ship Of Theseus'd my dinner.
