- as opposed as I generally am to starting Christmas "too early" (or actually, Christmas in general) I am already playing "Last Christmas" on repeat and you cannot stop me. It's annoying and dumb enough to be contrarian so
- again I continue to be amazed by tutoring. What do you mean I now understand the material better?? Black magic I say
- winddddd why must thou exist. What’s the point of constructing cool outfits or doing my hair when they will be ruined by the wind before I get to any of my classes???
- Julius Caesar is being performed in a few weeks. I am HYPED
- winter has set in and after a brief few months of taking initiative we are back to doing everything at the last minute. Normal procrastination or the onset of depression? Who knows????
Of all Christmas songs, why that one??
ReplyDeleteAlso, I share your antipathy toward winter. And wind (in winter).
Huzzah for the sorcerous tutors!
Because it’s stupid annoying catchy and I can play it on repeat for over half an hour without getting bored.
DeleteHere’s hoping I find a therapist who is similarly skilled in the magical arts 🤨
And… awww. I dont see it myself but I’m glad you like it :)))) miss you too
Also, this post reads exactly like you talk (when you're in a good mood). It's fun to "hear" your voice. :)
ReplyDeleteI am already starting to shift into Christmas mode. I am practicing multiple Christmas duets and just in general I'm starting to get hyped about Christmas season. Lots of people say it's too early but there is always that handful of people singing the songs in November....
ReplyDeleteI guess it works out for me that I won't be coming home until almost RIGHT before Christmas. It means I can ignore it for most of the month and then think about it a LOT for just a few days. For me, one week of Christmas is perfect... and it looks like two months of Christmas is working for you. You enjoy it! I appreciate the enthusiasm even if I absolutely do not share it.
Deletehave you broken out the eggnog yet? are there christmas lists? Has market basket switched their playlist, yet? (maybe a better question for our dear brother)
As a weekly visitor to ye olde Basket, I can verify that they have NOT yet started with the incessant carols. Bless them.
